His Life:
Sheikh Muhammad Yusuf was renowned for his abundant knowledge and was one of the most prominent ascetic scholars of his time. He played a significant role in the fields of Hadith and jurisprudence, and was considered one of the imams who combined knowledge and action. He was known for his humility and asceticism, and was one of the scholars who spread knowledge and focused on social reform.
His Passing:
Sheikh Muhammad Yusuf Al-Tarsousi passed away in 440 AH, in Baghdad, and it is also said in Tarsus.
