His Title
He was known as Al-Sayah (“The Traveler”) because of his lifelong journeys and lack of a fixed residence.
His Birth
He was born in Al-Salihiya, a region in Damascus, on Mount Qasioun, revered as a dwelling place of the pious throughout Islamic history.
His Path
Ahmad Jamal mentioned in his poem “The Golden Chain in the Sanad of the Qadiri Path” about Sheikh Abdul Fattah Al-Salahi, saying:
