His Life and Miracles
He was a great Sufi, ascetic, devout worshiper, and a pious man, highly dedicated to worship, refraining from people, and only emerging on Fridays. He loved narrating hadith, was respectful of students of knowledge, generous, virtuous, humble, and wise. He lived simply, patiently enduring poverty, and remained dignified and chaste in the path of the predecessors. He used to say that true Sufism is the essence of Tawhid (the oneness of God).
