The Right to Describe the Prophet ﷺ

It is impossible for any creature to fully do justice to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, as he is beyond our description and comprehension. The Prophet ﷺ was merciful, generous, and great, and he is the source of belief and faith in Allah Almighty and the true religion. Allah described him in the Qur’an with the words: “And indeed, you are of a great moral character,” to show that this description can only be understood through deep reflection on his actions and character.

The Prophet ﷺ: Source of Mercy and Counsel

The Prophet ﷺ is not only a mercy for the Muslims, but for all of creation, including humans, jinn, and even birds and animals. Allah sent him to teach all of creation, and He described him by saying: “There has come to you a messenger from yourselves; it grieves him that you should suffer; he is concerned over you, and to the believers, he is kind and merciful.”

The Prophet ﷺ: Teacher of the Rituals and Conveyer of Legislation

From the Prophet ﷺ, we learned the pillars of our religion, how to pray, how to perform Hajj, and how to carry out the rituals of Allah. He ﷺ was the ultimate source of Islamic legislation, and he clarified to us what is lawful and what is unlawful. He was also the ultimate reference in matters of religion and the world. Allah Almighty said in His book: “Nor does he speak from [his own] desire. It is not but a revelation revealed,” confirming that every word or action of the Prophet ﷺ is divine revelation.

The Prophet ﷺ: A Teacher in Purification and Spiritual Education

The Prophet ﷺ taught his companions how to purify the soul, which is the process of cleansing the soul from vices and refining it to align with virtuous qualities. Purification involves removing vices and replacing them with virtues, so that a person cannot be complete until they cleanse themselves from hatred, ignorance, lies, and oppression, and fill their hearts with truth, love, justice, and humility. The Prophet ﷺ was a role model in this process, and the companions learned from him how to behave appropriately in line with their faith.

Purification and Radical Change

Purification creates a righteous person who can contribute positively to society. This is what happened with the companions of the Prophet ﷺ, who transformed from individuals steeped in ignorance and darkness into brave and just heroes, thanks to his teachings and guidance. This educational process requires knowledge and adherence to the Shari’ah to achieve the greatest degree of internal change that reflects in the behavior of the individual.

Knowledge: Knowledge Without Action

The Prophet ﷺ taught the companions how to work according to the Shari’ah of Allah, and he made it clear that knowledge must be accompanied by action. Knowledge without implementation is of no benefit, as a teacher must accompany their knowledge with high ethics, allowing the effect of that knowledge to manifest in daily life. Thus, we see that the companions, who learned from the Prophet ﷺ, lived their lives according to what he taught them, becoming role models for the world.

Recitation, Purification, and Education: Pillars of the Nation’s Success

Recitation, purification, and education are the pillars on which Islam is built. Recitation of the Qur’an is part of the educational process, beginning with reading the Qur’an and understanding it, while purification is the process of building the soul and character. Education is the transmission of knowledge and ethics established by the Prophet ﷺ. Through these three elements, a Muslim achieves faith, piety, and righteous actions in their life.

The Message of the Prophet ﷺ: Teaching Religion and Reviving the Soul

The message of the Prophet ﷺ is to teach religion and purify hearts. It is not just about conveying words, but also about giving the highest moral principles and how to live according to them. We owe the Prophet ﷺ for everything we have learned about the religion and how to apply it in our lives. Through his teachings, we derive the faith that gives us strength and guidance in all aspects of our lives.

The Prophet ﷺ: Full Appreciation of His Morals

In conclusion, we cannot give the Prophet ﷺ his full due in words or in an article. He is more than just a messenger; he is the source of faith, belief, legislation, and rituals. Prayers and peace be upon him, he is the one who changed the face of history, lifting the Islamic nation from ignorance to knowledge and progress in a short period of time. The Prophet ﷺ became the ideal model for everyone in morals and behavior.

Prayer and Following the Sunnah

In the end, we pray to Allah Almighty to make us among the followers of the Prophet ﷺ, to make us among those who love Allah and His Messenger, and to grant us success in our actions and behavior so that we may follow the guidance of the Prophet ﷺ in our daily lives.
